This course will introduce electron microscopy based techniques: Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Electron diffraction (ED), Scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), Energyfiltered TEM (EFTEM), Energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), and Electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). On-site demonstration of the electron microscope will be given. Nanoporous materials including zeolites and mesoporous materials will be another topic of this course.
