The Statistics (STAT) program educates students to analyze and model complex real-world problems
arising in modern Statistical Data Science. Two degrees are offered: the M.S. degree (under either a Thesis
or a Non-Thesis option) and the Ph.D. degree. Admission to one degree does not guarantee transfer to
another. All students in the M.S. and Ph.D. programs are guided by a Faculty Advisor to develop their
program of study.
