Research Overview
Professor Liberale's research interests are focused on label-free imaging based on vibrational spectroscopy and multi-photon methods (coherent Raman microscopy, SHG, THG) and applied to biology and medicine.
He is also interested on applying novel 3-D fabrication techniques to the realization of both micro-optics and smart micro/nano-structures to be used as a probe in nanoscale imaging. His research activity takes advantage of an integrated approach that combines design, micro/nanofabrication and optical techniques.
