Description

This prestigious award is conferred to a researcher in recognition of his/her lifetime achievements in research and 'whose fundamental discoveries, new theories, or insights have had a significant impact on their own discipline'. The award winner is invited to carry out research projects of his/her own choice in cooperation with specialist colleagues in Germany to promote international scientific co-operation. Also known as the Humboldt Prize and given to internationally renowned scientists and scholars. Awarded while at KAUST.
