The University of Nottingham and research partner Saudi University KAUST were awarded the Khalifa International Award For Date Palm And Agricultural Innovation. Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation has been founded by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The UAE President, as an appreciation to the innovators and workers in the agricultural and date palm sector, both in the UAE and other countries of the world.
