A Calibration-Free Water-Cut Laser Sensor

Abstract

A laser sensor is developed for calibration-free water-cut sensing in oil-water flow. The sensor is based on three DFB lasers emitting near 1.4 pm. TDLAS and a novel algorithm were employed to enable calibration-free measurements.
