Abstract

THE WEAK effect of radiation on the flow of a radiating-absorbing gas m the neighbourhood of the centre of a strong explosion is considered. The gas is assumed to be perfect, the radiation grey, and the absorption coefficient a power function of the pressure and density. Possible regimes are considered: kinetic, Planckian, Rosselandian and constant absorption. Analytic and numerical solutions are obtained, comparable in the external region with the well-known solution of L. I. Sedov for a non-radiating gas.
