Abstract
The equations describing the flow of a high temperature plasma with anomalous heat transfer are studied in the hydrodynamic approximation. Solutions in the form of thermal shock waves and rarefaction waves are obtained. The strucutre of a thermal shock wave and the selfmodelling regime of heat transfer, which describes the approach of the classical law of electron thermal conductivity to an anomalous law are investigated. An effect involving an increase in heat transfer from electrons to ions on the front of the thermal shock wave was observed.
