abstract = "The multirange pseudo-potential lattice Boltzmann model (PP-LBM) for multiphase flows was successfully implemented along with various strategies to diminish the parasitic currents and enhance numerical stability. The predicted PP-LBM results show a good agreement with the analytical Carnahan–Starling equation of state coexistence curve, in which the maximum average error did not exceed 2%. It is found that increasing the isotropic order of the interaction force has a stronger impact on the magnitude of the spurious velocities, as compared to the implementation of more sophisticated collision operators.",
