Abstract

Bi-modal vertical distribution of Paraeuchaeta norvegica during late autumn was observed in a Norwegian fjord in three different years, and hence seems to be a recurring phenomenon. An upper mode performed did vertical migration, foraging in shallow water at night. A deep mode did not migrate vertically, but some feeding took place at depth.
