Abstract

The ability of the conventional, simple Cellular Neural Network (CNN) model to form spatial and spatio-temporal patterns has been recently highlighted [1, 2]. This paper continues this investigation, by studying new properties of pattern formation, and their application to modeling of biological pattern forming systems.
