Abstract

Block copolymers of poly(styrene) and poly(stearyl methacrylate) are prepared using anionic polymerization under high vacuum. Micelles are formed in methyl and ethyl acetate which are selective solvents for the PS block. In the former case of polymolecular micelles are observed, whereas in the latter monomolecular micelles are mainly observed.
