Abstract
Organic semiconductors have a range of applications in electronics and optoelectronics. para-Hexaphenylene molecules are of particular interest due to their ability to self-assemble into a special type of elongated, crystalline nanostructures: nanofibers. Here, we report the results of a theoretical investigation of the charge-transport properties of such nanofibers and compare the results to experimental data.
