Abstract
Graft copolymers or compact polymeric brushes can be straightforwardly prepared by the ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) of macromonomers end-fitted with norbonyl unsaturation. The ROMP is a good tool to obtain original polystyrene/polybutadiene macromolecular architectures with precise topological features in spite of the presence of acyclic unsaturations that are known to exhibit activity towards metathesis.
