Abstract

In this paper, a high performance RF-DC power converter is presented to harvest RF energy from the environment. The proposed circuit is working properly over a wide input power range, from-20 dBm to 20 dBm, while maintaining high power conversion efficiency (PCE). This scheme achieves a maximum PCE of 60.8% at-5 dBm input power level while producing an output voltage of 1.56 V across 100 KO resistive load with 2.45 GHz input RF frequency. The proposed circuit is designed in a standard 28 nm CMOS technology.
