Abstract
This paper reports the successful fabrication of a sol-gel derived glass waveguide grating on an InGaAs quantum-well wafer by means of simple stamping. The preliminary demonstration of sol-gel glass filtering on III-V compounds offers the potential of developing new type of DBR lasers.
