Abstract

The designing of electroactive surfactant to facilitate the interaction of cadmium selenide nanocrystals and organic semiconductors is discussed. The design allows independent tailoring of solubility and electronic activity. To achieve chemical control of nanocrystals, it is essential to coat them with a monolayer of surfactant. The primary aim of surfactants is to prevent aggregation.
