Abstract
We study the photodecomposition of copper acetylacetonate included in films of polymethylmethacrylate upon irradiation at 248 nm with an excimer laser. Physical and chemical properties of the irradiated mixture are followed with UV-Visible spectrophotometry, and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM-EDS). It appears that there is a fluence threshold for the photodegradation of copper acetylacetonate.
