    Abstract

    • Validation (1): - Pressure drop and linear flow velocity meet theoretical characteristics - Reproducible for different pressures • Validation (2): - Plug flow with dispersion - CFD-model meets experimental data, no abnormal flow profile - Geometry of the inlet influences flow profile within first 50 mm • Fouling investigation: - Pressure drop increase of 4 test cells in series detectable, - Flux decline over segments.
