Abstract

A combined numerical model of the general circulation of the atmosphere and the upper layer of the ocean is developed for the purpose of studying the variation of the earth's climate. A large 12 multiplied by 15 degree numerical grid with parameterization of eddy transport is used. A preliminary study is made of the sensitivity of the climate being modeled to variations in the CO//2 concentration in the atmosphere.
