Abstract

Heterofunctional linking agents for the synthesis of block copolymers of dimethylsiloxane and tert-butyl methacrylate or 2-vinylpyridine were studied. Addition and removal of the reagents were performed using break-seals and constrictions. Results indicated that the molecular and compositional homogeneity was high which was supported by the narrow molecular and compositional peaks obtained by size exclusion chromatography (SEC).
