We report novel circular plasmonic interferomers for refractometric sensing with detection limit of 8.7×10-7 RIU using a multispectral sensing method. The efficient light suppression through destructive interference also allows low-background intensity-based detection with FOM* exceeding 140. © 2013 OSA.
