N2 - On the road to chemical sensors: A novel 2D oxamato-based manganese(II)-copper(II) mixed-metal-organic framework (M'MOF) exhibiting non-linear fluorescence and long-range magnetic ordering is reported. This new luminescent nanoporous magnet features highly selective solvent- and gas sorption-induced optical switching behavior, opening the door to potential application for sensing of small molecules.
