Abstract

The η1-hydroxylamido half-titanocene complex, CpTi-Cl2(TEMPO) 1, hydrolyzes extremely efficiently to generate (CpTiClO)4 and the protonated hydroxylamine. The efficient hydrolysis chemistry provides selective syntheses of CpTi dialkoxide and diaryloxide complexes.
