N2 - To map the subsurface faults and identify the depth to the basement at the Gulf of Aqaba basin, a long-2D seismic profile using 3C wireless nodes was acquired. The signal to noise ratio (SNR) at the far offset traces of the recorded data are very low due to the large source-receiver offsets. To enhance the SNR of the far-offset traces we suggest to use a two-stage iterative super-virtual refraction interferometry technique. The first arrival traveltimes are then picked and inverted to generate the P-wave velocity tomogram. The traveltime tomogram shows that the depth to the basement is very shallow at the eastern side of the tomogram and is gradually increases toward the western side of the tomogram.
