Abstract
The liquid mixing behavior was investigated by pulse tracing injection in a column containing Mellapak 250Y structured packing. A one-dimensional model and a two-dimensional model were used to describe the liquid mixing process. The axial and radial eddy diffusion coefficients were obtained by using optimization method. Correlation equations for both axial and radial eddy diffusion coefficients were obtained.
