Abstract

Thick-film magnetoresistive sensors based on Ni and Co fine powders have shown promising results. In order to improve their performance Ni, Co and NiCo powders were prepared by the polyol process. The metallic powders were characterised by simultaneous thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TGA-DTA), X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
