Abstract

Multiples in VSP data were migrated by employing interferometric imaging. A synthetic VSP example was considered for this purpose. It was found that migration of the free-surface multiples recorded by a few deep geophones provided much better coverage than the migration of primary reflections recorded by many geophones.
