Current mirror is one of the most widely used component in analog circuit design. There are different current mirror configurations, where main challenge is to find the trade off between the linearity and accuracy of the performance and the number of required CMOS transistors for the design to improve on-chip area, power consumption, leakage currents and unstable behavior under different conditions. In this paper, the application of memristive devices in cascode current mirror is presented. Simulation results of CMOS-memristive current mirror show the improvements in power consumption and on-chip area, comparing to the conventional design. In addition, total harmonic distortion analysis as well as current transfer characteristics of the proposed circuit is presented.
