title = "Novel membranes and membranes processes for industrial separations - Part I",
abstract = "Separations are an indispensable part of petrochemical and refinery operations. Over the years past, MTR has executed a number of R&D projects focused on membrane applications in refineries and in petrochemical plants. Most of these projects received financial support from the Office of Industrial Technologies (Program Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, DOE) through its Chemical Industry of the Future initiative and the Small Business Innovation Research Program. A discussion on the R&D activities, presented at the 2004 AIChE National Spring Meeting (New Orleans, LA 4/25-29/2004), covers olefin/paraffin separations; hydrogen/hydrocarbon separations; and isomer separations.",
