Abstract

We have found that DMSO solutions of the linear chain compound (LiMo3Se3)n, can be cast into lustrous metallic thin films after heating in vacuo. The morphology of these films can vary from transparent ultra thin films to a conducting free standing foil like material. Herein we describe the preparation and analysis of this new material and the unique physical properties it displays.
