On-chip, ultrafast pulse generation with near-field anapole nanolasers

Abstract

In this invited talk I will discuss a new biomimetic nanolaser that takes advantage from radiationless electromagnetic states, allowing ultrafast pulse generation on optical chips with full temporal control on the emitted radiation.
