Abstract

Time-resolved laser-induced incandescence (TiRe-LII) for measuring primary soot diameter and two-angle elastic light scattering (2A-ELS) for measuring soot aggregate radius are introduced. Instantaneous and planar measurements with these optical methods are demonstrated in sooting flames.
