Abstract
We investigate Landau–Zener tunneling in one-dimensional liquid crystalline waveguide arrays by alloptical impression of acceleration with an additional beam. We derive the Zener model from the governing equations and demonstrate a novel approach to Floquet–Bloch band tunneling.
