N2 - A discontinuous Galerkin method is considered to simulate materials flow in a supply chain network problem which is governed by a system of conservation laws. By means of a novel interpolation and superclose analysis technique, the optimal and superconvergence error estimates are established under two physically meaningful assumptions on the connectivity matrix. Numerical examples are presented to validate the theoretical results. © 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
