Abstract

We report a plasmonic "rainbow"trapping metasurface for on-chip spectrometers and sensors. By extracting the numerical centroid of the trapped surface plasmon waves, a miniaturized imager-based platform was demonstrated for super-resolution displacement spectroscopic sensing.
