Abstract

Interest in functional polymers for a variety of applications has led a study of the possibility of designing new polymer-based separation media containing free phenolic functionalities. In the first stage this study focuses on an exploration of the variables which control the preparation of HPLC-grade vinyl phenol resin beads.
