Abstract

Ligand transformations that depend on the substitution patterns of the diimine ligands occur upon their complexation with Mn11 dialkyl complexes. For example the 1,3-migration of the neopentyl unit from Mn to a carbon atom and the 1,2-migration of the methyl in the putative intermediate 1 give the product 2.
