Abstract

We report a reflective micro-concentrator array developed using low-cost holographic photo-patterning based on polymeric Bragg reflection materials, which can selectively reflect and concentrate resonant wavelength at their focal points. The design principles, fabrication procedure and characterization results will be discussed. In addition, the potential of these arrays for miniaturized optical tweezers and biomimetics will be discussed. © 2012 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
