Abstract

Silicon nanocrystals obtained through polymer pyrolysis were investigated. The starting precursor was a sol-gel derived polysiloxane containing only Si-H groups. X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering were used for the analysis. Room temperature luminescence experiments were also performed.
