Abstract

Simple method for size exclusion chromatography (SEC) calibration by the use of broad molecular weight distribution samples for which only the number-average molecular weights need be known is presented. The procedure given can provide a reliable SEC calibration for polymer systems where narrow distribution samples are not available.
