Abstract

The solution-processable red phosphorescent dendrimers for light-emitting device applications are discussed. By taking advantage of the dendritic framework, tuning of color and processing properties are demonstrated to make solution-processable red phosphorescent materials. Organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) with good performance characteristics are realized. The advantages of electrophosphorescence and solution processing that dendrimers offer can be considered as a significant step forward in the development of high-performance red electroluminescent materials.
