Abstract

The fuel concentration profiles in nonreacting methane jets by adopting a spontaneous Raman scattering are experimentally investigated. The experimental results are compared with the observation of the loci of tribrachial flame is propagating upstream in laminar methane jets. A correlation of fuel concentration profile in methane jets proposed was also substantiated.
