Reaction of the Sb(III) dimer [Me2NSb(μ-NCy)]2 with Li-NH2 (1:2 equivalents, respectively) gives [{Sb(μ-NCy)}2N]3-(Li·THF)3 (LiN=NH)·0.25(dioxane) 4, in which four Li+ cations are coordinated within the trimeric cavity of the macrocyclic trianion [{Sb(μ-NCy)}2N]33-.
