Abstract

The synthesis and characterization of PDPMM homopolymers has been described. Chain tacticities indicate an isotactic content between that of PBM and PTPMM. The characteristics ratio also falls between those of the two similar chains. Dilute solution properties in the thermodynamically good solvent toluene indicated that the PDPMM chains behave similarly to flexible random coils.
