Abstract
The new organic–inorganic compound has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray single crystal, infra-red, Raman spectroscopy and thermal investigations. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21 with following unit cell dimensions: a = 4.5542(2) Å, b = 10.5171(5) Å, c = 13.7373(6) Å, β = 93.936(2)°, Z = 2 and V = 656.42(5) Å3. The crystal structure has been determined and refined to R1 = 0.0395 and wR2 = 0.1143 using 3950 independent reflections. The atomic arrangement is defined by infinite anionic chains running parallel to the [100] direction. These last are interconnected to the organic cation by hydrogen bonds N–H…O to form a one dimensional network.
