Abstract
As part of our ongoing study of the polar solvent soluble inorganic polymer (LiMo3Se3)n, we have investigated its synthesis via the heterogenous reductive intercalation of (InMo3Se3)n with a variety of organolithium reagents at room temperature. Herein we describe the results of our investigation of the soft chemical synthesis of (LiMo3Se3)n, and the determination of the reducing potential of tert-butyllithium vs. the intercalable rutile solid WO2.
